May 23, 2015 - Team Rogers Team Kaisen Mentoring Call #16

Stream May 23, 2015 Call - Who will take a Letter to Garcia?

Are you in a place in your life where you are in need of courage. The same was true in the late 1800's when the Spanish American War broke out.

On Ben's call with the Diamonds and Royal Diamonds Tuesday morning, he read to a portion of an essay written in 1899 by Elbert Hubbard entitled' A letter to Garcia

Ben did not read all of it, just some at the first and at the last. Then the group had a lively discussion about it and what it's principles used in relation to 21 clubs would mean to our businesses.

Here is an excerpt from this essay:

"A Message to Garcia

By Elbert Hubbard

In all this Cuban business there is one man [that] stands out on the horizon of my memory like Mars at perihelion. When war broke out between Spain & the United States, it was very necessary to communicate quickly with the leader of the Insurgents. Garcia was somewhere in the mountain vastness of Cuba- no one knew where. No mail nor telegraph message could reach him. The President must secure his cooperation, and quickly.

What to do!

Some one said to the President, "There’s a fellow by the name of Rowan will find Garcia for you, if anybody can."

Rowan was sent for and given a letter to be delivered to Garcia. How "the fellow by the name of Rowan" took the letter, sealed it up in an oil-skin pouch, strapped it over his heart, in four days landed by night off the coast of Cuba from an open boat, disappeared into the jungle, & in three weeks came out on the other side of the Island, having traversed a hostile country on foot, and delivered his letter to Garcia, are things I have no special desire now to tell in detail.
The point I wish to make is this: McKinley gave Rowan a letter to be delivered to Garcia; Rowan took the letter and did not ask, "Where is he at?" By the Eternal! there is a man whose form should be cast in deathless bronze and the statue placed in every college of the land. It is not book-learning young men need, nor instruction about this and that, but a stiffening of the vertebrae which will cause them to be loyal to a trust, to act promptly, concentrate their energies: do the thing- "Carry a message to Garcia!"
...
My heart goes out to the man who does his work when the "boss" is away, as well as when he is at home. And the man who, when given a letter for Garcia, quietly take the missive, without asking any idiotic questions, and with no lurking intention of chucking it into the nearest sewer, or of doing aught else but deliver it, never gets "laid off," nor has to go on a strike for higher wages. Civilization is one long anxious search for just such individuals. Anything such a man asks shall be granted; his kind is so rare that no employer can afford to let him go. He is wanted in every city, town and village- in every office, shop, store and factory. The world cries out for such: he is needed, & needed badly- the man who can carry a message to Garcia."

As we talked about it on the Team Rogers Mentoring Call, one in the group found the essay on the internet and forwarded it to Vance.  Vance was kind enough to pass it on: http://www.birdsnest.com/garcia.htm

Oh how we need to be the person (Rowan) that carries the message of Nikken (A Letter) to the People of the World (Garcia).

May we find the courage to: Discover it!  Live it!  Share it!  And above all, Find Peace and Joy knowing all is Well.

May 16, 2015 - Myth #1 and #2 - Team Rogers Team Kaisen Mentoring Call #15

Stream May 16, 2015 Call - Myth #1 and Myth #2

Quoting Vance's Email: "Myth #1 - If I can fit it in, I should fit it in.  Myth #2 - Successful people focus on what the competition is doing.

These are just two of the great business tips that Nikken’s president Ben Woodward shared with the Diamonds and Royal Diamonds this week.  We’ll be covering these two myths as well as four simple ways to overcome some of life’s common objections AND hearing from several members of Team Rogers who are really taking their businesses to the next level.

Health Care vs. Self Care

'Thank you for helping my 'Dadda' were some of the first words I remember hearing as the anesthesia was wearing off 48 hours ago.  Addi was so excited that this great group of nurses were there to help me get better now that the surgeon had done his job in repairing a small hernia issue on her daddy.

The surgery went off without a hitch and I'm looking forward to being able to do Nikken Roll-outs  again without the fear of my small intestines poking out just below my belt.  What I've discovered most about our Nikken wellness home is that I've literally surrounded myself with the best self care solutions on the planet.  Using the entire sleep system, mSteps inside my socks, MagFlex over the incisions, the core nutritionals, and as much PiMag water as I can consume literally bounced me back after this ‘minor surgery’.

Health care is fantastic and surgery is surgery no matter how minor.  Self care comes into play when we use what Nikken has given us to place our bodies into the best environment possible to function everyday.  I cannot even imagine what this process would have been like without having the gift of Nikken.  And it's given me even more of a passion to share with others so they can enjoy the quality of life that we get to enjoy every day."

May 9, 2015 Priority and Decide - Team Rogers Team Kiasen Mentoring Call #14

Stream May 9, 2015 Call - Priority and Decide

Quoting Vance's Email: "Team Rogers consists of a small group of passionate people who have made up their minds to be one of the many mentoring groups in North America who are committed to growing our Nikken businesses.  The beginning of each month we set specific attainable goals in these areas:  PV, PGV, OV, Customers, Quality Enrollments, and even Autoship Customers/Consultants.

We've discovered that the more detailed we are with our goals, the faster we see them come to pass.  We invite you to join us as we share these goals as well as the ones that have already come to pass in the first week of May.  Mom and I will also be highlighting our notes from the Diamond/Royal Diamond call hosted by Nikken's president Ben Woodward.

'People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.' - Abraham Lincoln

Dave Johnson is one of the many Nikken leaders that made up his mind years ago to be happy and really push the envelope of our second of the 5 Pillars of Health, a healthy mind.  Sure, he's often is noted as not one of the sharpest dressed guys or he often gets accused of displaying a googy grin or laugh, but have you ever seen a photo of Einstein with combed hair or a news article of Paul Allen & Bill Gates when they started playing with computers in a garage a few decades ago?  Yeah, not exactly a photo shoot that would make the cover of GQ magazine.

There's a reason why Mr. Masuda developed the 5 Pillars of Health in the order that he did.  It’s a known fact that 90% of people are introduced to Nikken because of a product experience.  That’s the first pillar, Healthy Body.  Most of us have met people who really need that experience and yet their mind can't comprehend a result due to unbelief or an eager desire to know how this stuff works before it actually works.

Can I encourage you today to read the attached email that Dave Johnson wrote this week?  I feel fortunate because my parents exposed me to great mind food like this when I was a boy.  Or as I've said many times, I was brain washed into believing that we can actually live the life we want by having the right mindset.  Sure, life is ALWAYS filled with opportunities dressed up like obstacles, but that's the fun part of life.  We get to choose to either act or react.  Most of life can be decided in our minds long before it actually takes place."

May 2, 2015 April Changed Lives - Team Rogers Kiasen Mentoring Call #13

Stream May 2, 2015 Call - April Changed Lives

Quoting Vance's Email: "Imagine... Being trapped in a wheelchair and for the first time in years being able to do a simple task unassisted just because you started wearing a pair of magnetic insoles.  Or being stuck in the same position with your company for 18 years without advancing and because of a new perspective being able to rise to a new pay grade.  Or sitting on a black seat cushion, feeling energy throughout your body and having a conviction that this product could enable you to be your own boss so you don't have to get bounced around from job to job. Or... Sharing a serving of a high energy tea with a customer at your car dealership who desperately needed a boost only to have her immediately get excited and write a check for $100 exclaiming 'I need this stuff now!'

These are just a few of the stories that members of Team Rogers experienced in April.  We are experiencing a huge surge of growth due to the Quality Enrollment focus AND taking advantage of the enhancements like free product, 21 Club bi-monthly reward pay-outs, bi-annual Autoship rewards, and the Customer Incentive program.  Nikken 2.0 has launched and it's impacting lives!"

 Vance's Tip of the Week:

'If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.' - Steve Jobs, Co-Founder of Apple Inc

Every time I introduce a new person to Nikken or help someone understand the value of what they have in their investment of the Nikken solutions, I feel exactly what Steve Jobs must have felt while working on those inventions that have transformed our culture. Information that could only be accessed by lots of training on computers in buildings or homes that would take 10 to 15 minutes to boot up a few years ago, can now be obtained in seconds on a hand-held device anywhere in the world thanks to inventors like him.

The vision of Nikken to experience balance in the 5 Pillars of Health can exist and it should pull us to share with others. No, not everyone will 'feel' the difference in seconds or even minutes, but the laws of physics ALWAYS work given enough time. And no, not everyone will achieve financial security or an additional $1000 a month in residual income, but the laws of duplication will pay-out over time when we keep sharing. The vision to impact our world and make it better, one person at a time, should pull us."
