Loyalty = Free Stuff

‘When we find a great company or product, its typically better to remain loyal than to jump around for a better deal’. I remember that wise advice from Dennis Williams years ago when we both were traveling a lot staying in hotels and using rental cars. I cannot tell you how much that wisdom has paid off. Our family recently enjoyed our bi-annual hotel stay in downtown Seattle at the Hotel 1000 which was listed at $700 per night. We receive two free nights at any Hilton hotel chain every year because we have used our Hilton Honors American Express card for most of our purchases.

We have a few days remaining to take advantage of a similar bi-annual loyalty award from Nikken. It caps out at $500 worth of free product next January and is available to both Consultants and Customers. All we have to do is make sure our Wellness Subscriptions total more than 150 points for Consultants and 200 points for Customers. There’s only a few products not available to order via a Wellness Subscription and our family loves knowing that we will never be without our whole foods nutritionals, skin care, and filters at a discount. There’s also the fact that we add and delete small items like insoles, jewelry, and MagFlex’s on a regular basis.

And while I cannot imagine NOT having a Wellness Subscription as a Consultant, we don’t have really meet the minimum requirement if we have several Customers who’s orders total over the 150 points because theirs count towards ours. In other words, as long as we have one set up of any amount then we qualify when ours plus our Customers total over 150. BUT why would we not want to set the example and encourage others to take advantage of this great reward.

Call Nikken if you need clarification, but better yet, simply make sure your Wellness Subscription orders are over those totals. It’ll be a fun way to start the next year with some nice loyalty rewards!

In talking with a new Customer yesterday, we were talking about the path in Europe called Camino de Santiago. While our oldest daughter did 160 miles of this walk in eight days, my friend Lori did all 600 miles of it over the course of couple months! (And to think I get weary walking up our 1/8th of a mile driveway.)

MasterDay is a way that we get to see the route which people are using to master their days with Nikken. It’s like taking some time to refresh that Google map or get a better set of directions for where we wanna go. How miserable would life be if we’re using a map of Chicago to navigate around Cincinnati?

Nikken in the News

While walking around downtown Coos Bay, Oregon a few minutes ago, I couldn’t get over the message on the mural behind my wife and youngest daughter. In 1975, this young man dominated the sports world news because his life was cut short due to a tragic death. As a 19 year old a few years earlier he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated due to his achievements in the world of track and field. He trained under coach Bill Bowerman who was the co-founder of Blue Ribbon Sports which later became the company we all know as Nike.

Nikken was birthed the same year that Nike’s poster child’s life came to an end. Nikken didn’t make the news stories around the globe like Steve did back then, but to me, it doesn’t matter. The founder of our company made a decision to launch this research and development company so others could enjoy the benefits of these bumpy insoles that just might allow us to run a little faster than the others, just like coach Bill did when he used his wife’s waffle iron to make a better tread on Steve’s shoes.

When you set out to give your best at anything, you may not get noticed at first, but do this over and over again and you may find yourself leading others in your field. Mr Masuda chose to start when he could have stopped. Pre, as he was known by most, chose to race harder and faster than anyone else at the sound of the gun when his fellow runners would pace themselves.

Nikken may not be in the news (like we want it to be), but what we as Nikken Consultants & Customers represent IS in the news every day. What’s fun is to utilize this as we share, not sacrifice, this gift with others.
