Looking Through the Looking Glass of Memory Lane - 24 Amazing Years in Nikken

Come Join Us - It Has been A Fun Time
Click Here to Listen to Vance tell his story of being introduced to Nikken. Others share their stories also.

Vance admits he and his two brothers were less than kind and defiantly not supportive of Denny and Char for the first 3 weeks after Dennis Williams shared Nikken with them 24 years ago today. Their feelings began to soften when they realized the health of their grandmothers and parents had suddenly taken a turn for the better.

Ben and Dave's Tips from this Week's Core Consultant Newsletter.

Greetings,

"What can I and only I do that if done well will make a real difference?" - Peter Drucker

What is something that only you can do? If you don't do it, it won't be done by someone else. But if you do do it and you do it well, it can really make a difference to your life and your career.

Success is earned one single day at a time, one step at a time. One phone call at a time. One phone call can be transformational. One single meeting - perhaps the meeting you didn't want to go to, but you decided to go anyway - could change everything!

Every great accomplishment is the result of thousands of tiny accomplishments that no-one sees or appreciates. - Earl Nightingale

The Compound Effect - Little Strokes Fell Great Oaks

The Compound Effect, by Darren Hardy is about the astonishing results that occur through the steady accumulations of seemingly small daily activities. I highly recommend you watch Darren’s presentation on Youtube with pen and paper.

When broken down to its most common denominator, Nikken is about one person connecting with another person.
Just like right and left, up and down, hot and cold, Decision is the opposite of procrastination.

The best thing we've ever listened to regarding procrastination is Confessions of a Recovering Procrastinator by Jeffery Combs. Don't wait, listen today!!

Think and Grow Rich

"Think and Grow Rich" has a powerful chapter about decision. If you read the chapter on decision every day for 30 days, it could go a long way in helping you act quickly on your important ideas.

Purpose is good.  Shared purpose is better. YOU can decide to be Masuda!

Laugh Louder, Sing Sweeter, and Dream Deeper With Carmen Weber

Click Here to Listen to Call with Carmen Weber.  ‘Actively participating in life and at the gym are the polar opposite of waking up every day feeling like you’ve been run over by a semi truck.’ That’s the way Carmen Weber describes her life a few years ago. The slow progression of body aches and dependence on caffeine just to have a bit of energy left her seeking answers that months of testing and blood work didn’t seem to provide.

All of this changed when Nikken entered the picture. Within a very short amount of time, the youth and vitality returned as well as a new found passion for life. ‘The use of these products brought me back into balance without any side effects which is why I feel compelled to share them with others everyday.’

Laugh Louder, Sing Sweeter, and Dream Deeper

Movies play a big role in our family dynamics. While enjoying the latest from Pixar a few weeks ago, I found myself giggling at not only the beautiful animation of the sea creatures of ‘Finding Dory’ on the screen, but the younger members of the audience. They kept pointing and murmuring as the different sea life appeared to be larger than life. As each comic line was spoken, I continued to laugh louder which would drown out the distractions around.

The next day while sitting in church I noticed a few people who would get distracted by sounds outside the open doors letting the tail end of summer ooze into the auditorium. As the music progressed, those of us captivated by the intensity of worship wouldn’t even notice anything other than the sweetness of the singing.

Today I saw a homeless man with a cardboard sign that read ‘Living the American Dream?’. I pondered what message he was hoping to send and then I thought about the dreams I’ve been dreaming lately. Am I dreaming deeper and if not, why? I know that 21 years ago on this day, I stood on a stage, made a commitment to have and to hold, and it seems as if I’ve been living a dream.

We get to choose everyday what kind of day we’re going to have which ultimately determines the life we’ll live. I made a decision 21 years ago that I wanted to have a great marriage to Stacey and we’ve embraced the 5 Pillars of Health in order to get the most out of life that we can. If we want to laugh, sing, and dream to the fullest, we must choose to do so. Our life is what we make of it!

Weekly Call with a Lighter, Stronger, Healthier Hattiejane Darracott

Hattijane Darracott
Click Here to Listen to this weeks call: Hattijane Darracott was at a frustration point with the way western medicine was going 20 years ago when she was introduced to Nikken. With only a pair of Magsteps, she knew that she could start helping people faster than what she was doing through her vocation as a registered nurse. 'That pair of insoles changed my life so quickly that I took my mortgage money and bought as many as I could'.

Now in her 70's, Hattijane refuses to let her age define her. She's 100#'s lighter than she used to be and continues to improve in so many ways. 'There's nothing in life that I can't imagine doing now and I'd love for more people to discover what I have!

Dave and Ben's Tip Of the Week:

"Greetings,

Your attitude clearly determines what happens to you in life. Your attitude, upon starting a difficult task, determines whether or not you will enjoy it and finish it successfully…We get back measure for measure an exact reflection of what we put out… Therefore, if you find people are reacting unfavorably or if you get the idea the world is picking on you - it might be time to look at the attitude you have been presenting to others and the world. Check your attitude! – Earl Nightingale

The question is though, how do we develop gratitude for hard things? Victor Frankl said that suffering ceases to be suffering when we find its meaning. This can take time and so, I would advise that patience is a virtue that we should practice. Why? Because becoming a success in life and in business demands grief and a little suffering some time. Wouldn’t you agree?

On a Leadership Call, Ben Woodward spoke about ‘Four Essential Attitudes’ that can ensure a happy and productive life. These attitudes help determine what happens to us in life.

An attitude of gratitude,
A longing for learning,
A devotion to discipline
A willingness to work.

So, our invitation this week is to practice the Four Attitudes and to be patient with both the process and the progress of your business and yourself.

Arnold Bennett wrote that the kind of desire (attitude) that triggers drive and energy within us isn’t some vague hankering, some undefined wish. The productive kind of desire is real, it’s concrete, it’s a mental picture that will never leave us alone. It’s always there in front of our minds, prodding and poking, goading us on. It’s an obsession, a whip. It has no mercy and we’ll never be satisfied until we’ve achieved that which we truly desire.

In conclusion, we have learned that we can be persistently patient when we have confidence in the future and our journey. Both of us have great conviction that we are in the right place, at the right time, doing the right things with the right people! What a privilege it is to be in Nikken!

Much love,

Ben and Dave"

Steppin' Up and Out in September

Join Us
Click Here to Listen to Steppin' Up and Out in September. "Fall is always my favorite time of year. For us, our entire family transitions back to school and there is a freshness in the air. It's as if we get to step up to new challenges, step out to new arenas, and step into new opportunities. What we do this month impacts the next few months and allows us to finish the year with gusto and then blast into the new year. For me, my resolutions and biggest changes take place now.

Nikken has given us an incredible incentive this month. The second I read it, I got really excited, fired off a text, and then landed our first Senior. I want to share some of what made this possible as well as a few timely ideas that I feel will allow us to use this amazing gift we've been given."

Vance's Tip of the Week!

"September 2nd, 2016

Malala
It's not very often that I've had the privilege to hear a Nobel Peace Prize recipient speak in person, let alone the youngest person to receive this prestigious award. Her best selling book documents her life journey after being shot at point blank range by the Taliban for continuing to attend school after they had banned all females from being educated. She miraculously survived and has undergone several surgeries to literally put her head back together.

Here is one of the thoughts she shared:

'Everything we do makes a contribution to society. We can call on people to support the things that matter. Our communities need us to start making a difference. Don't wait for someone else. If you feel strongly about something that needs to be changed, it's your job to be that change!'

I strongly feel this way about Nikken. How many people do we know who have issues with sleep, water, air, and nutrition? Or simply don't enjoy the quality of life that is possible with a wellness home? We can be that change. NO! We ARE THAT CHANGE!!!"
